Senior Pastor Mike Curry
Bro. Mike Curry is the senior pastor of LifePoint Church of Lufkin.
He was born in Jacksonville but grew up in Lufkin where he surrendered to preach at the age of thirty-one. In answering God’s call into the ministry, Bro. Mike and his wife Pam, along with their two daughters, left everything behind to attend Southwestern Seminary in Fort Worth to begin the ministry God had called them into.
Pastor Mike has been used of God to preach and teach the Gospel in various meetings in seven different states and four foreign countries. God has used him to plant and begin two churches that are still growing today – Southside Baptist in Lufkin and Christ’s Way Baptist in Bryan. Along with being a senior pastor, Bro. Mike has also served as Director of Missions of the Agape Fellowship Baptist Association. He is also the author of a book, “Only God’s Man; The Calling of a Pastor.”
God has given Pastor Mike a passion for preaching and the heart of a pastor. He and his wife of over 50 years, Pam, have two daughters and five living grandchildren.
